Oh the joys of British weather, one again the e representatives from the Sydenham were met with really blustery conditions with the headwind appearing to be against every time you got on the long drags. Dave Twin was the first off and had just crossed the finishing line in 1.03.27 when the rain started. He was very shortly followed by a fast gaining Mark Newton who finished in 57.31 (5th). Last club rider off Ed, was unfortunate enough to be in the rain for over 20 minutes and finished looking rather damp in 1.02.50. The winner was Laurence Harding, Shorter Rochford RT in 53.55.
